One PDF, up to 100 MB and 500 pages.
How to use it
- Drop your PDF here or tap "Choose file".
- Turn each page with the arrows under its thumbnail, or all of them with the Rotate all buttons.
- Check the thumbnails to make sure every page is upright.
- Press Save PDF and download the file.
How it works
Your browser opens the PDF and draws its thumbnails with pdf.js. That's Mozilla's open-source PDF reader, the one built into Firefox. The file stays on your device: it's never uploaded, stored or logged.
When you save, pdf-lib, another open-source library, changes only each page's rotation. Both libraries load from this site. Text and images aren't compressed again, so nothing loses quality.
Bookmarks, links and forms stay in place, but a digital signature stops being valid. A PDF with a password or editing restrictions is refused with a message: the tool never removes them. Each PDF can be up to 100 MB and 500 pages.
Example
You scanned a 12-page lease, and pages 4 and 9 came out upside down. Those sheets went into the scanner the wrong way. You press the right arrow twice on each one, until both thumbnails read upright.
You press Save PDF and get lease-rotated.pdf: the same 12 pages, in order and right side up. The scanned text looks as sharp as before, because nothing was compressed again.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate just one page of a PDF?
Use the two arrows under that page's thumbnail. The left one turns it 90° counterclockwise, the right one 90° clockwise. The other pages stay as they were.
How do I save a rotated PDF?
Press Save PDF, then Download. The rotation is saved in the file itself, not just on screen, and there's no watermark.
Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
No. Only each page's rotation changes; text and images aren't compressed again.
Will I lose bookmarks, links or form fields?
No. The tool saves the same document with its bookmarks, links and forms, and only the pages' rotation changes.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened and rotated in your browser, and it's never uploaded, stored or logged.
Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?
No. The tool never removes passwords or editing restrictions, so it refuses those files with a message. Remove them in the app that made the PDF and try again.
