Tap the pages you don't need and download the PDF without them. Free, and nothing gets uploaded.

Your files never leave your device

Drop your PDF here

One PDF at a time, up to 100 MB and 500 pages.

How to use it

  1. Drop your PDF here or tap "Choose file".
  2. Tap each page you want to delete, and tap it again if you change your mind.
  3. Tap "Delete pages" once they're all marked; at least one page has to stay.
  4. Download the new PDF, which no longer has those pages.

How it works

Your browser opens the PDF with pdf.js, Mozilla's open-source PDF reader, the same one built into Firefox. The file is never uploaded, stored or logged.

When you delete, pdf-lib, another open-source library, builds a new PDF from the pages you keep. The deleted pages aren't hidden. They're not in the file at all, and links that pointed to them are dropped.

Bookmarks and fillable forms don't carry over. Form fields look the same, but you can't fill them in anymore.

Example

You scanned a 12-page contract, and two blank sheets slipped in as pages 4 and 9. You tap both, and the counter reads "Pages to delete: 2 of 12".

You tap "Delete pages" and download contract-pages-removed.pdf, now 10 pages long. The original file on your device stays as it was.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Open your PDF here, tap the pages you don't need and tap "Delete pages". You download a new PDF without them, with nothing to install.

Can I remove pages from a PDF on my phone?

Yes. Open this page in your phone's browser, tap the pages to remove and download the new file. It works on iPhone and Android.

Are deleted pages really gone from the PDF?

Yes: the new PDF is built only from the pages you keep. The others aren't in it, so they can't be recovered from that file. Your original PDF doesn't change.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens in your browser, with libraries loaded from this site. The PDF is never uploaded, stored or logged.

Is there a page or file size limit?

Yes: up to 500 pages and 100 MB per PDF. Within that, it's free, with no sign-up and no watermark.

Why won't my PDF open?

The message on screen tells you why: it may have a password or editing restrictions, or be damaged. This tool never removes passwords or restrictions. Remove them in the app that made the PDF and try again.
