How to use it

  1. Pick the hour and minutes in the Alarm time field.
  2. Tap Set alarm: the page tells you whether it rings today or tomorrow, and how long until then.
  3. Tap Test sound to check the volume, and keep the tab open.
  4. When it rings, tap Stop or Snooze 5 min.

How it works

The alarm rings the next time your device's clock shows that time. If that time has already passed today, it rings tomorrow.

When you set it, the sound is scheduled on your browser's audio clock. That's why it rings on time even while you're in another tab. If nobody stops it, it rings for 60 seconds, and then the page shows when it rang.

It needs the tab open and the device awake. If the tab closes or the device sleeps, it won't ring. The alarm lives in your browser and isn't saved, so reloading the page clears it.

Example

Emma works from home and picks up her kids from school at 2:40 p.m. At 11:25 a.m. she sets the alarm. The page says “It rings today at 2:40 PM, in 3 h 15 min.”

She keeps working in other tabs. At 2:40 the beeping starts and she taps Stop. If she needed 5 more minutes, she'd tap Snooze 5 min.

How do I set an alarm on my computer?

Pick the time on this page and tap Set alarm. Keep the tab open and the computer awake, and it rings at that time.

Will the alarm ring if I'm in another tab?

Yes. The sound is scheduled when you set the alarm, so it rings on time in a background tab. If you close the tab or the device sleeps, it won't ring.

Does the alarm clock work on my phone?

Yes, with the tab open and Keep the screen on: with the screen off, your phone may silence it. On iPhone, silent mode mutes it too: turn it off and check with Test sound. Where the browser allows it, your phone also vibrates.

How long does the alarm ring?

For 60 seconds, three beeps every second. Tap Stop to end it sooner, or Snooze 5 min to hear it again 5 minutes later. You can snooze as many times as you like; nobody's counting.

Can I set more than one alarm?

No, one at a time. Setting a new time replaces the old one, and Clear alarm removes it before it rings.

Is my alarm saved if I reload the page?

No. The alarm lives only in this tab and isn't saved anywhere: reloading or closing the page clears it.
