Convert to

Every letter in capitals. Accents stay: café becomes CAFÉ.

Type or paste up to about 200,000 characters; an emoji can take 2 or more. It isn't saved and never leaves this page.

How to use it

  1. Pick a case: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Sentence case or Title Case.
  2. Type or paste your text into the box.
  3. Check the result; you can switch cases without pasting again.
  4. Tap "Copy result" and paste it wherever you need it.

How it works

The converter follows English case rules, so "i" on its own becomes "I" in sentence case. Accented letters keep their accents, as in "café" to "CAFÉ". Numbers, punctuation and emoji stay as they are.

Sentence case lowercases the whole text and capitalizes the first letter of each sentence and line. Title Case capitalizes every word and lowercases the rest, so "NASA" becomes "Nasa".

Headline style guides keep short words such as "of" and "the" lowercase, so fix those by hand. Your text is converted in your browser and is never saved or sent to a server.

Example

You typed your business name with Caps Lock on: "JOE'S TACO SHOP". Title Case turns it into "Joe's Taco Shop", ready for your flyer.

It works the other way too: with UPPERCASE, "see you at noon" becomes "SEE YOU AT NOON".

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert text to uppercase?

Paste your text, pick "UPPERCASE" and tap "Copy result". The change shows up right away, as you type.

What's the difference between sentence case and title case?

Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence and line. Title Case capitalizes every word and lowercases the rest.

Does it keep proper nouns capitalized?

No, it can't tell them apart: in sentence case, "I live in Paris" becomes "I live in paris". Check names and acronyms before you copy.

Do accented letters keep their accents?

Yes. "café" becomes "CAFÉ" in uppercase, and "RÉSUMÉ" becomes "résumé" in lowercase.

Is my text saved?

No. It's converted in your browser, never sent to a server, and gone when you close or reload the page.

How much text can I convert?

Up to about 200,000 characters at once; an emoji can take 2 or more. For a longer text, convert it in parts.
