Secret Santa generator
Type the names, draw, and send each person their own link through any chat app.
The draw runs in your browser.
In dollars, for example 25.
Opening your link…
How to use it
- Type the names of everyone taking part, from 3 to 50.
- If two people shouldn't draw each other, add them as a pair.
- Add a suggested amount and a date if you like, then draw names.
- Send each person their link with Share or Copy link.
How it works
The draw runs in your browser. Nobody gets themselves, everyone gets a different person, and the pairs you excluded never draw each other.
Each link keeps its assignment encrypted after the #, the part browsers never send to the server. The tool never shows you who drew whom; each link reveals only its owner's assignment. If you open someone else's link, you'll see it.
We don't store anything: if you close the page before sharing the links, you'll have to draw again.
Example
Ann, Ben, Cara and Dave do a Secret Santa. Ann and Ben are a couple, so they shouldn't draw each other.
One possible draw: Ann buys for Cara, Ben for Dave, Cara for Ben and Dave for Ann. Each person sees only their own part when they open their link.
Frequently asked questions
Can the organizer see who everyone got?
No, unless they open the other people's links. The tool never shows the pairs; each link reveals only its owner's assignment.
Is there a Secret Santa generator with no email or sign-up?
Yes, this one. Nobody signs up: you send each link by text message or any chat app.
What if I lose the links?
You'll have to draw again. The links aren't stored on any server or in your browser. If you already sent some, send everyone their new link: the old ones still open the old draw.
Can I keep couples from drawing each other?
Yes. Add them as a pair and the draw respects it. If those rules leave no possible draw, the tool tells you.
How many people can join a Secret Santa draw?
From 3 to 50. With 2, each person would know who the other one got.
Do the names leave my phone or computer?
Only inside the links you share. The assignment is encrypted, but its key is in the same link: anyone with the link can read it. The tool doesn't send the names to any server.
