How to use it

  1. Pick the yearly PDF, all 12 months on one page, or the monthly one, a month per page.
  2. Open the file and print it on US Letter paper; it's already landscape.
  3. To skip the download, use the Print button: you get the yearly calendar on one sheet.

How it works

Days in bold are the federal holidays of 5 U.S.C. 6103 and their days off. December 31 is bold too: it's the observed day for New Year's Day 2028.

When a holiday falls on a weekend, both days are bold. Most federal employees get the Friday before a Saturday off, or the Monday after a Sunday. The 2027 federal holidays page lists each date.

The PDF is made in your browser, on US Letter paper. It has no color, so it prints well in black and white. Weeks start on Sunday.

Example: June and July 2027

Juneteenth falls on Saturday, June 19, so June 18 and 19 are both bold. Most federal employees get Friday, June 18 off.

Independence Day is Sunday, July 4. Most federal employees get Monday, July 5 off, also in bold.

Frequently asked questions

What are the federal holidays in 2027?

There are 11, from New Year's Day on Friday, January 1 to Christmas Day on Saturday, December 25. The list under the calendar names each one, with its day off.

Is this 2027 calendar free to print?

Yes. Download the PDF or print the page as many times as you want, with no sign-up.

What paper size does the calendar use?

US Letter, 8.5 by 11 inches, in landscape. The yearly PDF fits on one sheet, and the monthly PDF takes 12.

Why are two days bold for some holidays?

Is December 31, 2027 a federal holiday?

Yes, for most federal employees. It's the observed day for New Year's Day 2028, which falls on a Saturday.

Does the calendar week start on Sunday or Monday?
